About Jackjaw

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout.

For nearly two decades, JackJaw® has helped contractors, crews, municipalities, and professionals around the world pull stubborn posts, stakes, and anchors faster, safer, and with less effort.

Bob & Karen at the showman's show | Berkshire, England | 2015

JackJaw® began with a simple idea: there had to be a better way to remove stakes and posts from the ground.

Founded in 2007 by Robert and Karen Anderson, JackJaw, Inc. combined decades of experience in the construction industry with an innovative Australian gripping concept to develop what would become the original JackJaw® post and stake puller.

What started with a single tool designed to make pulling concrete form stakes faster and easier quickly grew into an entire family of purpose-built pullers used across construction, fencing, signage, agriculture, erosion control, events, and more.

2026 | A New Chapter

A Proven Product. A New Chapter.

In 2026, JackJaw® began its next chapter under new ownership right here in Tippecanoe County, Indiana.

After nearly two decades of building JackJaw into a trusted name, Bob and Karen Anderson passed the torch to a new ownership team committed to preserving what made JackJaw successful while investing in what comes next.

Today, JackJaw is a family-owned and operated business with deep roots in construction, transportation, manufacturing, and business operations. For us, JackJaw isn't just a product line or a name on the side of a building—it's a family business we're proud to put our name, our time, and our reputation behind.

We're taking a hands-on approach to the company—working directly with our customers and dealers, spending time with the people who use our tools, and continually looking for ways to make our products and the experience of doing business with JackJaw even better.

What isn't changing is just as important.

JackJaw products are still proudly made in the USA. They're still built around the same simple idea: make tough jobs faster, safer, and easier. And we're still committed to building tools that earn their place on the jobsite.

We're proud of where JackJaw came from, proud to carry that legacy forward as a family, and incredibly excited about where we're taking it next.

Built For Safety, Speed, and Efficiency

Built for the People Who Get the Job Done

At JackJaw®, we believe the best tools solve real problems without making things complicated.

That's why every JackJaw is built around three things that matter on any jobsite: safety, speed, and efficiency. Our tools are designed to reduce the backbreaking work of pulling posts and stakes by hand, help crews get the job done faster, and provide a simple solution that works day after day.

We're also proud that JackJaw products are 100% made in the USA. From the steel and components that go into our pullers to the people who build and assemble them, we're committed to American manufacturing and to building products that are made to work and made to last.

Nearly two decades after the first JackJaw was built, our mission is still pretty simple:

Build a better tool. Make a tough job easier. And take care of the people who put their trust in JackJaw.

That's what JackJaw was built to do—and that's what our family intends to keep doing.
